Message So I bought my TT, and starting stripping weight after the truck stop told me my car weighs 3500+lbs. Naturally the ride height was normal for a stock vehicle. About a year later, I'm close to 2900lbs and I can fit my head inside my wheel wells. Looks like the car is on jack stands. 350z wheels help counteract this, but now I'm even higher by 1". I'm not sure if its from removing the front crossmember to change the oil pan, or the loss of weight (A/C, P/S, de-powered drivers seat, etc)

Ive got a set of megan springs sitting in the kitchen, and it looks like -2" of shock height should get me back to where I was. This should effectively put the shock back into its comfort zone, correct?

Now as far as shock damping. I believe the TT shock "could" handle the megan spring on 1 condition, if poly bushings are used in the control arms. On my track S14, the biggest thing I've noticed is the poly slows down the "rebound" as energy is dissipated into the poly from the rotation of the sleeve

Thoughts on this?
